Testimonials

Thanks so much for an amazing sail last Sunday! You were beyond helpful. The boat was fabulous for us. Comfy and perfect for 30. Kept us dry and out of the rain but we got some blue sky photos at the end. It was very memorable for us all. A  day we will never forgot. The food was delicious, catering and bar staff were delightful and did everything they could to make us welcome. I hope you will have us back again. I think we were a well behaved bunch and nobody got drunk!! :-) Thank you again.

We look forward to another time with you.
Best wishes

Fay

Thank you thank you thank you for such an INCREDIBLE river cruise on our wedding day. We - and all our guests - have not stopped talking about it and it totally made our day so wonderfully special. Our guests were absolutely blown away by it! Thank you for everything, for decorating it beautifully, and providing amazing service from start to finish. We feel very lucky to have had you as our boat - not only for our wedding reception but for one of the best experiences of ours - and our guests’ - lives, sailing down the Thames in such beautiful sunshine. We will definitely be recommending Reeds to everyone, and watch this space for an anniversary party!! Thanks so much again, we are still floating in our wedding bubble (while sunning ourselves in Santorini!)

Much love,

Mr and Mrs Pepper x

To Reeds River Cruises, Now the dust has settled, I want to say a huge thank you to all of you for your hard work and commitment in making the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant a fantastic success. This project has been vast not only in terms of the event footprint but also in terms of the public communications, marketing, PR, fundraising, commercial and supporting services from the authorities and I know that this has taken a huge amount of time dedication to get agreement from everyone. It has been challenging at times but I feel that we have tackled everything head on and it is good to see that we are still smiling post 3rd June. What’s more if we do it again we have the blueprint to work from! It has been great having you all as part of the team and I hope you have enjoyed the project and are proud of the result. No doubt our paths will cross in the future and I look forward to seeing you all soon.

Rosanna, Project Manager Thames Diamond Jubilee Foundation

Dear Francine, We want to say a huge thank you and congratulations for making the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant the momentous success it was. Truly it was history in the making and we are very grateful for your support, patience and dedication in the lead up to and on this significant day. Thanks to your hard work we managed to create the biggest pageant since 1602 and smashed the Guinness World Record! Of course Pageant day brought its own trials in terms of the weather but nothing could stop the spirit of the participants. We hope you are as proud of yourselves as we are of you. Here is a link to our website with soe further information about the legacy of the pageant www.thamesdiamondjubileepageant.org Finally to say it’s been a pleasure for each of us to work with you and thanks again for helping to create historic Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant.

Dear Mr Reed, I wanted to write and thank you for taking part in the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant – a spectacle which I imagine was the most remarkable the Thames has ever seen. I have no doubt that the pageant will go down in history. Not only was it a remarkable spectacle, it was the central event in celebrating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and only the second time such celebrations have taken place in this country. In spite of the weather, the team which organised the Pageant were, I hope you will agree an enthusiastic and highly skilled group. Even with all their experience, they had never been presented with a project of this scale and complexity. I hope that you feel they deserved all our gratitude, but I especially wanted to thank you for taking part in such a happy and constructive spirit. I so much enjoyed meeting some of the participants in the days preceding the Pageant and witnessing that spirit myself. The Queen has already told me how much she enjoyed the day and appreciated the efferts of everyone who took part and I hope that ou will remember the event with as much pleasure as all of us in the team who organised it. Everyone on the Pageant team is immensely grateful to yo and your crew for joining in and being a part of History.

Marquess of Salisbury, Chairman of the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant

Dear Steve and Dave, Just a short note to say a Huge Thanks to you both and your wife for making Hannah’s birthday celebrations so successful. My apologies for not contacting you sooner but finding the time to switch the computer on since Friday has been impossible! We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on Friday eve ad the night ran so smoothly due to your professionalism. Mark and I feel so lucky to have been introduced to you both back in January when we were trying to find a boat suitable for Hannah’s party. I know Hannah will never forget her 16th birthday!!

Thank you once again
